MEGAN JAMES

Megan James is a fine artist based in South Florida. Working with natural pigments at large scale, her paintings move between water, land, and light  -  exploring transformation, resilience, and the wisdom held in natural systems.
Her work has been featured in Restoration Hardware's 2026 collection, The New York Times, Kinfolk, Vogue Paris, and Like the Wind. Paintings are held in private and public collections globally, including through Sotheby's, and she has collaborated with designers and sold through brands including Krista Watterworth Alterman and Lulu + Georgia. She works directly with collectors, interior designers, and spaces seeking original work of depth and scale.
"The themes of my work revolve around both the stability and impermanence of the natural world and how it informs and relates to daily life, rituals, composition and time."
